Folks,

We have uploaded a beta of the upcoming release of the SI6 Networks
IPv6 Toolkit.

It is available at:
<http://www.si6networks.com/tools/ipv6toolkit/ipv6-toolkit-v1.3b.tar.gz>.

This upcoming release has a number of important features:

   * It includes a full-fledged IPv6 address scanning tools
     -- maybe the most compete out there?

   * It includes support for tunnels (in most of the tools)..
     So if you employ a gogo6 or he.net tunnel, you'll now be
     able t play with the tools on the public Internet.

   * It includes some manual pages in nroff format (e.g., that of
     the scan6 tool)

   * It includes a makefile, which not only builds the tools but
     is also able to install the tool, a config file, manuals,
     and a small database we use for the scanner.

As you probably know, we try to support (at least) Linux, FreeBSD,
NetBSD, OpenBSD, and Mac OS X. At times, this is becomes a bit tricky
(particularly when we don't have access to all of these OSes).

So if you could try to build and install the toolkit in as many
platforms as you currently have available, and report any problems you
find to me, so we have a "cleaner" release.

P.S.: Of course, we still keep the git repository for the tool:
<https://github.com/fgont/ipv6-toolkit>. Additionally, a number of
related/useful documents are available on the SI6 Toolkit home page:
<http://www.si6networks.com/tools/ipv6toolkit>

Thanks so much!

Best regards,
- --
